This was supposed to be a timestamp snippet for [personal profile] aella_irene. It got away from me to the tune of over five thousand words. As these things do. Not beta-ed, no real plot, just lots of things blowing up.

Four thousand words on GT&T! I have the Satedan mutiny to write now and I have decided, with the backing of a poll I offered a while back: Melena will live.

Has the entire SGA fandom gone eerily silent in the last few days or is it just me? Is everyone busy writing?

I have a Dreamwidth account, thanks to the lovely </a></b></a>[info]livrelibre and </a></b></a>[info]hilarytamar. (Yes, it took two of them. I'm a speshul snowflake.)

http://auburn.dreamwidth.org

From now on I plan to post there. I'm importing my posts and comments ifrom my livejournal over there. When Dreamwidth starts allowing automatic cross posting, I'll begin doing that, but I'm not going to bother setting up Semagic to do so. Even then, I'm only going to crosspost fic announcements to live journal. I have this permanent account here at IJ which I intend to take better advantage of as well, by crossposting my blather here from Dreamwidth. Everything that is at LJ will stay the same, as will anything posted here, so post links will go on working.

To inaugurate my new journal home, I've posted a teaser bit from Part II of the au epic of doom.

It's here.

Green Sky

Please to be commenting there. Dreamwidth is very, very OpenID friendly, if you're thinking but I don't have an account there.

Look, I don't know how to explain it except to say, I feel like I'm getting out of a bad place on LJ and going to somewhere where I'm really welcome on Dreamwidth. At the same time, I still really love Insane Journal, because Squeaky is a human face on managment and does a remarkable job.
